The 13th annual MJBizCon, the world’s largest cannabis business conference, is currently underway at the Las Vegas Convention Center, running from December 3 to 6, 2024. This premier event has drawn over 30,000 industry professionals, featuring more than 1,400 exhibitors and a robust lineup of over 140 speakers.
Keynote Highlights
The conference commenced with a compelling keynote panel titled “From Weed Wars to High Hopes: A Pop Culture Journey from Legacy to Rescheduling.” This session featured cannabis industry pioneers and brothers Andrew and Steve DeAngelo alongside Slava and Mishka Ashbel. They shared their experiences transitioning from legacy activists to industry leaders, discussing the evolution of cannabis from underground markets to regulated frameworks.
Adding star power to the event, NBA legend and entrepreneur Carmelo Anthony headlined a panel on December 4. The discussion, “Empowerment + Innovation: Reshaping the Cannabis Landscape While Championing Diversity and Inclusion,” focused on his venture, Grand National, which aims to enhance diversity and representation in the cannabis industry.
